We had a booth at Dollars and Sense Day on November 7th at WE Graham School, brought to you by Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy – Slocan Valley.

Palm trees during a hurricane

Board members Alex Berland, Val Mayes, and Susie Hammond man the booth.

Fantastic turn out!

At this event, information on everything from dental and vision subsidies, tax benefits, energy efficiency programs, free government money for children’s education, and much, much more was available. There was a fantastic turn out. The Legacy Society helped sponsor this event and we also attended along with over a dozen financial, health and education service providers. There was a great attendance and lots of interest in how to apply for Legacy Fund grants. Several members also dropped by to say Hello!
